Fry Succeeds Arnold as CHS Chair

June 30, 2021 –

Last week, Cynthia Arnold passed the gavel to Clark Partington shareholder Megan Fry, who succeeds Ms. Arnold as Chair of the board of Children’s Home Society’s Western Division for the 2021-2023 term.

When we approached Ms. Fry to congratulate her on this tremendous achievement, she graciously thanked us and offered these words of praise for the outgoing chair:

“Cynthia guided us through a most challenging term with a servant’s heart and leadership.  She is an inspiration to our board and we offer our gratitude and appreciation for her guidance.  She has left big shoes to fill!”

We congratulate and thank both Ms. Fry and Ms. Arnold for answering this important call to serve children and families in our community.

Children’s Home Society (CHS) serves children and families statewide and leads the way in developing and delivering solutions that drastically change life trajectories for those served.  The Western Division serves Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties, specifically providing counseling, post-adoption support, youth job training and placement and services for homeless youth and teens transitioning out of foster care.  The Western Division was recently awarded a grant from Sunday’s Child to support youth Street Outreach services for runaway and homeless youth.   Reid Torgersen of Torgersen Causey Insurance will serve as Vice-Chair.
