Professional Experience:
Megan F. Fry is a shareholder who focuses primarily on business and real estate litigation in state and federal courts in Florida and Alabama. She represents title insurers and their insureds, real estate owners, individuals and financial institutions in all types of litigation matters, including but not limited to, real property disputes, title liability and commercial real estate defaults. In addition to loan enforcement matters, Megan routinely advises financial institutions on deposit operations, lending and compliance related matters. Her practice also focuses on business dissolution, shareholder disputes and general commercial litigation. Megan understands that litigation is stressful and approaches each case with the client’s goals for litigation or legal matter at hand and business needs in mind. She believes that her role is to serve as both a legal strategist and adviser to her clients in providing not just the legal solution to the issue presented, but a practical solution that best meets the client’s needs.
Megan began her practice with the firm in 2008 and believes lawyers are an integral part of their client’s everyday lives and businesses. She hopes she leaves clients with the impression that lawyers are not just there to provide pleadings and argument; rather, they should be seen as a trusted adviser for life.
When she is not advocating for her clients, Megan serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Children’s Home Society of Florida – Western Division; and additionally serves on the UWF Foundation Board of Trustees, as well as Florida’s Great Northwest Board of Directors.
Megan has been repeatedly recognized for her outstanding leadership abilities by several prestigious organizations. She has served as a member of Leadership Florida’s Connect Class VIII (2017), as well as Leadership Pensacola’s Class of 2014. In 2010, Megan was named a “Rising Star” by Pensacola’s Independent Weekly, and most recently, she was honored as “2018 Developing Leader of the Year” by NAIOP’s Northwest Florida Chapter.
