Richard N. Sherrill to speak at Florida Bar’s Litigation & Trust Law Symposium 2019

PENSACOLA (March 12, 2019):  Richard N. Sherrill will present “Delegation – What duties may be delegated and how to do it to limit liability” at the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section‘s Litigation and Trust Law Symposium 2019 on March 29, 2019.  Hosted by Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Resort in Fort Lauderdale, this seminar will cover topics that routinely arise in the drafting and administration of trusts and, if not handled correctly, may result in litigation, including safe deposit boxes, delegation, IRA planning, and Artificial Reproductive Technology Planning. In addition, the seminar covers litigation topics such as the use of expert witnesses, undue influence, and tortious interference.

Richard N. Sherrill is board certified by The Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates.  He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. Richard specializes in trust and estate matters, and handles prenuptial agreements, probate, estate planning, and virtually all aspects of wills, trusts and estates. He regularly represents fiduciaries in ancillary administration of Florida estates for out-of-state decedents.

Richard’s practice also includes real estate closings and finance. He is an agent for a number of title insurance underwriters including First American Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title, Westcor, Old Republic, Fidelity National Title and Alliant Title.

Richard has been practicing law for 19 years and joined Clark Partington in 2001. He holds his law degree from The University of Florida College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University. Richard has served on Clark Partington’s Executive Committee and he is a member of the Executive Council of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, where he is a member of multiple committees.
