Clark Partington Announces New Shareholders

PENSACOLA, March 1, 2019 – As the largest law firm in the Florida Panhandle, Clark Partington is pleased to announce that Glenn E. Lovett and Ian S. Macdonald are now Shareholders of the firm.  “Glenn and Ian are committed, hardworking, responsive attorneys, who are proven in their crafts. Glenn E. Lovett (J.D., Florida State University, with honors; B.A., Florida State University, magna cum laude), is a member of Clark Partington’s Transactional Department, where he focuses on business and health law. His business and corporate practice focuses on asset sales and acquisitions, private placements, corporate formation and governance, intellectual property, and contract drafting review.  Glenn’s health law practice focuses on providing guidance to practitioners, group practices, clinical study organizations, and regulated facilities on various state and federal issues.  He joined Clark Partington shortly after graduating law school, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida State University Law Review.  Glenn has served as an active member of the Pensacola Museum of Art’s Board of Trustees since 2013, and in 2016 he was named a Rising Star by Independent Weekly.

Ian S. Macdonald (J.D., Florida State University College of Law; B.A., University of Virginia) is a member of Clark Partington’s Commercial Litigation department where he focuses on business and real property litigation.  Ian routinely represents title insurers and their insureds as well as individuals and businesses to identify and resolve impairments to their property.  He also represents creditors including financial institutions and small businesses in and outside of bankruptcy proceedings.  Ian additionally handles probate litigation and representation of his clients in all manner of disputes arising from wills, trusts, estates and powers of attorney. Outside of the practice of law, Ian volunteers at Legal Services of North Florida, assisting individuals with estate planning.  He also serves as an advisor to the FSU College of Law’s Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.
