In its initial year, the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign was a huge success. Leading the charitable endeavor was Clark Partington Shareholder, Douglas A. Bates. Bates led the Pensacola team of men who raised money and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Cancer. Individually, Doug raised over $14,000 to support victims of breast cancer. “Pensacola is a wonderfully generous community,” says Bates. “Working with a great group of men to raise money through Real Men Wear Pink allowed all of us to honor those who courageously fight this dreadful disease every day, and those who fought hard in days gone by. I am proud of what our team accomplished, and I look forward to helping make 2017 another stellar year.” As a team, the men and their families raised over $76,000. The team’s fundraising topped all “Real Men Wear Pink” teams in the entire state of Florida. We applaud Doug’s efforts and look forward to Doug’s continued efforts in 2017.
