Ian S. Macdonald’s law practice focuses on commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, and real property litigation.
Macdonald graduated cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law where he was a member of the Jessup Moot Court team, a Florida State University Supreme Court Justice and served as Articles Selection Editor for the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy. While in law school, he worked for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and held externships at both the Florida First District Court of Appeal and Legal Services of North Florida. Prior to law school, he worked as an excess casualty underwriter for an E & S lines insurer in Richmond, Virginia. Macdonald graduated from the University of Virginia in 2006, double majoring in economics and history.
